Girl names for Asian last name and mixed child?

I am Scottish and my husband is Asian and we are having a girl in February. I am completely stuck on names. The last name is Chun. I am wanting to stay away from Asian names as she will look predominately Asian and have the last name but don't want to try to hard for an Americanized name.

The thing with half Asian children is you don't know which side they're going to take after. I'm half Korean and most people would never guess that I am part Asian. I knew someone half Asian with blonde hair and green eyes. Others look completely Asian. (I'm from Hawaii there's lots of mixed folks there). You don't really know how your daughter will look so if there's name that you had in mind go for it. She can have any name.



What you can do is give her an American first name and Asian middle name. Something like Emma Meili Chun. (Meili means beautiful in Chinese).
Wendy Chun. ITS THE BLACKEST NAME EVER.

As basic as this may be... I suggest the name Annie because my coworker, who is Asian, named her daughter that because it sounds similar to "I love you" in Chinese. Annie Chun is a sweet name and there won't be any other's like her in her class. Plus, any Asian person willl find it so sweet to hear it and know it means "I love you".



I highly do NOT suggest any of the top girl names (Emily, Emma, Chloe, etc.) because I know a lot of little mixed girls with those names and it sounds so cliche.

Really, I'd look up some traditional Scottish names. You can probably find one you like that sounds nice with Chun.
