Choosing a name is difficult. You are giving this new person a name that they will have for the rest of their life so choose carefully.
My daughter is 12 1/2 months old. I stayed with selecting very traditional names and names that had some family history. My daughter, Emma is named after her grandmother and great great grandmother on my husbands side and her great great great grandmother on my side of the family. My niece who is 11 1/2 months old got a more unique name, Brayah. Here are some other names that my sister considered:
McKenna
Slone
Rayleigh
Here are some of the names I had on my list:
Clair
Josephine
Alexandra
Posey
Gwendolyn
Dunnell (my grandmother's maiden name)
Just remember to choose a name you like, that goes well with your surname and that the initials don't spell something rude.
Congrats!

I love the name Eloise, though whenever I suggest it, people burst into the song by the same name, lol ;-)
I was never lucky enough to have a little girl, I have 3 boys. I always wanted to call my little girl Rowan, I heard a story years ago about Arthur and the round table and a girl called Rowan wanted to be one of the knights but because she was a girl she couldn't be but she fought and fought until Arthur made her an honerary knight. I thought the name might have made my little girl have a good wilful personality.
i like...layla, sumayah, madaleine, annabel, lilyarna, caitlin, amelia and eloise
Don't choose anything too whacky - the child has to live with it all her life! Get yourself a baby-name dictionary and look up the meaning of the names you're tempted by. Is there a name of a deceased grandparent who meant something to you? Its nice to keep a heritage of family names.
P.S. Don't choose AMELIA. Medically speaking it means 'without limbs.'

PS Pay attention to small details do not saddle your child with a name that can cause riddicule. Look at what their initials spell, i.e. My sister was going to name her daughter Autumn Summer Steves (bad idea)
